Remuneration: Negotiable based on qualification and experience (15.00 – 17.00 lakhs p.a.)

Essential qualification and experiences:

PhD in Engineering (Chemical/Mechanical/Environment/Renewable Energy/ Agriculture Engineering or PhD in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/Enzymology/Microbiology with 8-10 years of rich experience in the field of biogas technology, liquid bio fuels, waste to energy in R&D Institute or R&D division of any reputable industry on biomass energy/Bio – fuel related technologies. Should be able to convert concepts to technologies and able to execute the projects.

Desirable:

1.      Proven Research experience in the field of Bio-chemical Conversion Technologies with a significant contribution to R&D Programmes as a Principal Investigator with outstanding publications in reputed journals/ books

2.      Should have earned/handled at least 03 major projects as Principal Investigator.

3.      Translate problems into R&D objectives, specify requirements, investigate options (based on technical complexity and cost), possess troubleshoot skills, and meet deliverables

4.      Able to evaluate and analyse scientific reports and identify next steps and key challenges

5.      Able to define strategic planning, goals, and tactics to manage research activities of divisional projects

6.      Able to guide young scientist in research and innovation in the execution of various projects

7.      Ability to work with strict deadlines and budgets

8.      Able to complete projects with due diligence to ensure projects meet all financial and technical requirements

9.      Keep up with the latest technology development in the field of bio-chemical conversion technologies and should have vision to enhance the research and viability of the projects for commercialization.

10.  Should able to write proposals for external funding and to collaborate with industries

11.  Team leader with excellent teamwork and communication skills, encouraging team building, motivation and cultivating effective team relations and able to communicate results to tech and non-tech audiences
