Open House 2022-23
SPRERI organised its flagship event Open House for two days i.e. 24th and 25th of January 2023 with the objective to showcase the technologies developed at SPRERI.
It was a grand event, where the chief guest was Shri Meenesh Shah, Chairman, National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) and Er. Shree Bhikhubhai B. Patel Sir, Chairman, Charutar Vidya Mandal (CVM) as the guest of honour bestowed their presence.
A guided tour of the institute was organized as well as a working demonstration of technologies developed at SPRERI were displayed and explained by our scientist/ technical personnel.
A footfall of 2,600 people was noted where students and staff from various schools and colleges, professionals, entrepreneurs, farmers and others interested in renewable energy visited the institute. A poster competition was also held in which students from different colleges participated and the best three were awarded.
Everyone who visited SPRERI mentioned that it was a well-learned and satisfactory experience. A few farmers interested in certain technologies at the institute also shared their contact details. The event got varied coverage in the local newspapers and electronic media.
