Essential qualifications and experiences:

Ph.D. in Chemical/Mechanical/Environment Engineering/Renewable Energy with 7 — 8 years of rich experience in the field of thermo-chemical conversion processes (pyrolysis, gasification, torrefaction & combustion) in R&D Institute or any reputable industry on biomass energy/biofuel-related technologies. Should be able to convert concepts to technologies and able to take implementation projects

Job Description

  1. Proven research experience in the field of thermo-chemical conversion processes with a significant contribution to R&D programmes as a Principal Investigator with outstanding publications in reputed journals/ books
  2. Translate problems into R&D objectives, specify requirements, investigate options (based on technical complexity and cost), possess troubleshooting skills, and meet deliverables.
  3. Be able to communicate results to tech and non-tech audiences. To work as a team member and lead the members in the division.
  4. Team leader with excellent teamwork and communication skills, encouraging team building, motivation, and cultivating effective team relations
  5. Should be able to write proposals to collaborate with industries
  6. Keep up with the latest technology developments in the field of thermo-chemical conversion and a vision to enhance the research and viability of the projects to commercialization.
  7. Able to evaluate and analyze scientific reports and identify next steps and key challenges
  8. Ability to work with strict deadlines and budgets
  9. Able to complete projects with due diligence to ensure projects meet all financial and technical requirements
